True Blood: Unseen Predators

INT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - NIGHT

Sookie Stackhouse stands behind the bar, serving drinks to the patrons. Sam Merlotte is cleaning a table, watching Sookie from the corner of his eye.

SOOKIE
(smiles)
Here's your cold one, Maxine.

MAXINE
Thank you, dear. The bar's packed tonight.

SOOKIE
(turns to Maxine)
Always is after a full moon.

Suddenly, Sookie hears a loud, painful thought. It's coming from someone outside the bar.

SOOKIE
(concerned)
Sam…

SAM
(worried)
What is it, Sookie?

SOOKIE
Someone's hurt outside. I just… heard it.

SAM
Let's go check it out then.

EXT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - NIGHT

Sookie and Sam step outside, scanning their surroundings. Sookie guides them, following the thoughts to Arlene trapped under debris from a fallen tree.

ARLENE
(panicking)
Help! Somebody!

SAM
(taking charge)
Stay calm, Arlene. We're going to get you out.

SOOKIE
(to Sam)
Call Jason. We need his help.

.INT. BON TEMPS POLICE STATION - NIGHT

Jason is filing paperwork as Andy watches.

ANDY
(serious)
That's your fifth mistake this hour, Jason.

JASON
(defensive)
I'm tired from all the fieldwork, Andy.

Phone rings. Jason answers.

JASON
(serious)
Bon Temps Police.… Sookie?

Jason listens, a look of alarm forming.

JASON
Yeah, I'm on my way.

ANDY
(confused)
What's going on, Jason?

JASON
Gotta go help at Merlotte's. Arlene's in trouble.

INT. FANGTASIA - NIGHT

Eric and Pam are discussing their plans for the evening when Tara approaches with news.

TARA
(serious)
We got some big trouble in the vampire community. Some rogue ones just arrived in town.

PAM
(groans)
Great, more drama.

ERIC
(sincere)
We'll deal with it like we always do, Pam. Tara, keep an eye on things here while I head to Bon Temps.

TARA
(salutes)
You got it, boss.

EXT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - NIGHT

The crowd from the bar is outside, watching as Jason and Sam work together to rescue Arlene. Eric arrives, scanning the crowd.

SOOKIE
Eric, what are you doing here?

ERIC
(smirking)
Some rogue vampires arrived in town. Seems like they're causing chaos wherever they go.

They share a concerned look.

SOOKIE
(whispers)
The last thing we need in Bon Temps is another mess.

Episode 8: Crimson Moon

INT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - NIGHT

The lively, dim-lit hometown bar is bustling with the usual mix of HUMANS and SUPERNATURAL BEINGS. Sookie, wearing her signature waitress uniform, serves tables while Sam tends the bar.

SOOKIE (V.O.):
It was just another night at Merlotte's... or so we thought. Little did we know that a Crimson Moon was about to change everything.

JASON enters the bar, visibly flustered, and catches SOOKIE'S attention.

JASON:
Sooke, we need to talk. Is now a good time?

SOOKIE:
Sure, let me just check with Sam.

Sookie walks over to SAM who has been watching the exchange.

SAM:
Go on, I got this. You and your brother work things out.

CUT TO:

INT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - BACK ROOM

Sookie and Jason sit down in the quiet, cluttered back room.

SOOKIE:
What's going on, Jason?

JASON:
I just found out there's this new kind of V-amp blood called Crimson Moon. It's super rare… And it's causing some real dangerous stuff.

SOOKIE:
What do you mean? What kind of dangerous stuff?

JASON:
Seems like it's givin' vampires even more power. Like becoming immune to sunlight kind of power.

SOOKIE:
You've got to be kidding me. How is this even possible?

JASON:
I don't know. But we need to find out more.

Suddenly, the back door slams open, revealing a FRIGHTENED YOUNG WOMAN who is unknown to Sookie and Jason.

FRIGHTENED YOUNG WOMAN:
Please! You've got to help me. I barely escaped...

She's interrupted as a MYSTERIOUS VAMPIRE with dark eyes bursts through the door, fangs bared.

MYSTERIOUS VAMPIRE:
You really thought you could run from me?

SOOKIE:
You stay away from her!

Sookie and Jason both go on the defensive as glass shatters at the front of the bar.

CUT TO:

INT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL

At the front of the bar, several more MYSTERIOUS VAMPIRES have entered, causing chaos and panic amongst the patrons. Sam and Lafayette fight to protect the customers.

CUT TO:

INT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - BACK ROOM

Sookie, using her telepathic powers, sends a metal spike flying into the MYSTERIOUS VAMPIRE'S heart. He turns to ash.

FRIGHTENED YOUNG WOMAN:
He had that Crimson Moon blood! They all do!

The camera cuts to a shot of the bright full moon outside, seemingly tinged with hints of red.

SOOKIE (V.O.):
Crimson Moon... The town of Bon Temps had never faced something so terrifying.

CUT TO BLACK.

True Blood: Dark Revelations

INT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - NIGHT

The bar is buzzing with activity, vampires and humans mingling. Sookie (a young telepathic waitress) is serving a table with her usual perkiness.

SOOKIE
Here you are, one true blood on the rocks.

The VAMPIRE CUSTOMER smiles, revealing his fangs.

VAMPIRE CUSTOMER
Thank you, Sookie.

Sookie walks away and exchanges glances with SAM, the shapeshifter owner of the bar.

EXT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - NIGHT

TARA (a loyal friend of Sookie) makes her way towards the bar entrance. She notices a SUSPICIOUS MAN watching her from a distance.

TARA
(mutters)
Great, just what I need.

Just then, LAFAYETTE (the boisterous cook and Tara's cousin) intercepts her.

LAFAYETTE
Hey, Tara! You look like you seen a ghost, girl.

TARA
Yeah, maybe. There's a creepy guy outside...and he's been following me for the past few days.

Lafayette examines the Suspicious Man.

LAFAYETTE
Maybe you got yourself a stalker. Or... a secret admirer.

TARA
I don't have time for that. Let’s just get inside.

INT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - NIGHT

Sookie serves drinks to JASON, her brother, and HOYT, his best friend. Jason is staring at the VAMPIRE WAITRESS working behind the bar.

HOYT
Really, man? Another vamp? What happened with Jessica?

JASON
We're on a break. Besides, I'm just lookin'.

SOOKIE
(sarcastic)
That's all you ever do, Jason.

Jason rolls his eyes and grins. At that moment, Tara and Lafayette enter and join them.

LAFAYETTE
What's new in the crazy world of Sookie Stackhouse?

SOOKIE
Same old, same old. Vampires and supernatural creatures, one after the other.

TARA
Does it ever end, Sook?

SOOKIE
(smiles)
I guess not.

Suddenly, a STRANGER clad in black with a hood, enters the bar. The Stranger's presence causes an unnatural stillness in the room. He makes his way to Sookie.

STRANGER
Are you Sookie Stackhouse?

SOOKIE
(unnerved)
Yes.

STRANGER
I have a message for you.

The Stranger hands her a mysterious looking envelope. He abruptly exits, leaving everyone baffled.

JASON
What's that? Who was that guy?

SOOKIE
I don't know. Should I open this?

TARA
Might as well.

Sookie hesitates but opens the envelope. She pulls out a letter and begins to read quietly.

SOOKIE
(whispers)
Oh my god...

LAFAYETTE
What? What's wrong?

SOOKIE
It's about Bill. He's in danger.

Episode: Midnight Spirits

EXT. BON TEMPS, LOUISIANA -- NIGHT

A full moon shines down on the town. A feeling of unease sets in as wild winds create an unsettling atmosphere.

INT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - KITCHEN - NIGHT

Sookie Stackhouse is handling last-minute prep work behind the counter. She's mixing drinks for an upcoming rowdy biker party. Lafayette Reynolds, the cook, peers over her shoulder.

LAFAYETTE
Goddamn, Sookie, what kind of potion are you brewing? That shit looks like it could kill a vampire.

SOOKIE
(mockingly)
Oh, hush, Lafayette. You know our biker friends love their cocktails strong. Can't handle the rookies tonight.

LAFAYETTE (laughs)
You got some point, sista. As long as it keeps them satisfied, I'm happy.

EXT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - NIGHT

A group of bikers roll closer to the bar, their motorcycles roaring. Sam Merlotte, the shape-shifter owner of the bar, steps out to greet them.

SAM
Welcome back, fellas! Ready for a wild night?

BIKER #1
Hell yeah! This place always delivers, Sam. Best bar in Bon Temps!

Sam grins proudly and gestures them into the bar.

INT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - MAIN AREA - NIGHT

As Sookie serves drinks to the bikers, she suddenly feels a surge of emotions, hearing the thoughts of an unfamiliar face in the crowd. She furrows her brows and tries to zero in on the person's thoughts.

SOOKIE (V.O.)
Who is that? I can't seem to focus on their thoughts, but it feels so... weighted.

Across the room, Bill Compton and Eric Northman, vampires, exchange glances.

BILL
Do you sense it, Eric? A powerful force nearby...

ERIC
Indeed, Bill, but it's neither vampire nor werewolf... Something else.

Jason Stackhouse, Sookie's brother, steps in between them, all excited.

JASON
Hey, what're y'all whispering about? Something going on?

BILL
Not for you to worry about, Jason. Enjoy your night.

Jason looks at them suspiciously, then shrugs.

EXT. MERLOTTE'S BAR AND GRILL - PARKING LOT - NIGHT

Tara Thornton, Sookie's best friend, notices a mysterious figure standing near the edge of the woods. She approaches with caution.

TARA
Hey, who's there? It's private property. You can't just loiter around.

The mysterious figure steps out, revealing an attractive yet ominous-looking woman with bright green eyes.

MYSTERIOUS WOMAN
My apologies. Tara, is it? I heard there's an excellent party tonight. Mind if I join?

True Blood: Bloodline Reckoning

            INT. MERLOTTE'S BAR - NIGHT

The bar is bustling with activity. Sookie sits at a booth, stews in her thoughts as she watches the vampire, were, and human patrons intermingle.

SOOKIE (V.O)
Life in Bon Temps had become a battleground between supernatural forces beyond our control. But we couldn't stop living our lives, no matter what horrors lurked in the shadows.

Lafayette approaches Sookie with a plate of food.

LAFAYETTE
Sookie, honey, you gotta eat. I cooked this up special for you. I know how much you love my burgers.

SOOKIE
Thanks, Lafayette. You always know how to cheer me up.

Lafayette smiles and leaves Sookie to her meal.

ANGLE ON: A MYSTERIOUS FIGURE entering the bar, dressed in a long trench coat that conceals their face.

Sookie perks up at the sight of the individual, recognizing them and feeling concerned.

SOOKIE (V.O)
As soon as I saw her walk in, I knew something in Bon Temps was about to change. The question is, for better or for worse?

INT. BILL'S HOUSE - NIGHT

Bill sits at his desk, examining a cryptic document. Holding it up to the light, he sees a vampire bloodline tracing back centuries.

BILL
Hmm, this would definitely lead us to the ancient vampire entity responsible for the chaotic disruptions in Bon Temps.

As he analyses the parchment, Jessica walks in, concerned.

JESSICA
Bill, I can feel something's not right. It's like something inside me is unsettled in a way I've never felt before.

BILL
Come here, Jessica. It seems we've made a major discovery; there's an older, much more powerful force affecting vampires in this region. We must navigate this dilemma carefully.

INT. ERIC'S FANGTASIA OFFICE - NIGHT

Pam watches Eric from the doorway as he gazes out the window, lost in thought.

ERIC
Something is changing, Pam. I feel drawnto an unknown force, something ancient and powerful.
PAM (sarcastic)
You even make ancient vampire curses sound sexy. Always Mr. Mysterious.

Back to Merlotte's Bar, the Mysterious Figure unveils herself to be a stunning, and powerful vampire named LANIA. She slowly approaches Sookie's table.

LANIA
Sookie Stackhouse... It's a pleasure to finally meet you. I've heard you're quite an intriguing human. You might hold the key to what has been ailing our kind.

Sookie, wary of Lania's intentions, tries to read her mind but hears nothing. Lania notices Sookie's effort.

LANIA
There's more to our world, Miss Stackhouse, than the mind can comprehend. I hope you're prepared because Bon Temps will never be the same.

The familiar music of the JUKEBOX fills the room. The bar is bustling. SAM, ARLENE, TARA, and LAFAYETTE are all at work. SOOKIE steps in, looking exhausted after another day of telepathically hearing everyone's thoughts.

TARA: (smirking) Girl, you look like you just went two rounds with Amy Winehouse.

SOOKIE: (sighs) I wish. I swear, I almost snapped at another customer today from exhaustion.

LAFAYETTE: Damn girl, wearin' you out, huh? Okay, well, how 'bout this. I'll cover for you, give you a chance to unwind.

SOOKIE: (grateful) Thanks, Lafayette. I really appreciate it.

She moves to the bar and takes a seat. JASON, her brother, enters the bar shortly after, a look of determination on his face.

JASON: Sook, I just got word there's another nest outside of town.

SOOKIE: (shocked) What? Where? And how'd you find this out?

JASON: I don't know exactly where, but Andy and I overheard some vampires talkin'. And Sook, they said something 'bout an ancient vampire comin' back.

SOOKIE: (worried) A revenant? You think it's dangerous?

JASON: Hell if I know, but we gotta investigate this. C'mon.

Sookie hesitates, but finally nods.

EXT. WOODS OUTSIDE BON TEMPS - NIGHT

Sookie and Jason walk through the foggy woods cautiously, holding flashlights among the darkness.

SOOKIE: This feels wrong, Jason. Who knows what we're gonna find?

JASON: Well, we'll find out together.

As they approach the vampire nest, they notice silence; eerie atmosphere surrounds them.

INT. VAMPIRE NEST - NIGHT

Sookie and Jason enter, on guard. They look around, finding the inside smells of rot and decay. A BLOODIED VAMPIRE lies unconscious in the corner.

SOOKIE: (disgusted) This isn't a nest. It's a hellhole.

Suddenly, the vampire stirs, catching their attention.

VAMPIRE: (weak) Help me... She brought me back, only to leave me here to rot.

SOOKIE: Who did this to you?

VAMPIRE: The revenant...

Just then, the smell of death is overshadowed by a powerful presence. SOOKIE and JASON exchange worried glances as they prepare themselves for what is to come.
