MAGGIE, Aaron, and Rosita flank the rear of the group. They hear a noise in the distance and signal everyone to stop.

AARON: (whispering) Sounds like a herd.

Daryl nods in agreement.

EXT. ABANDONED HOUSE - DAY

The group, huddled together, descends into the basement.

Maggie, Aaron, and Rosita take out a larger group of walkers which separate from the smaller herd heading toward the house.

The Walking Dead: Silent Shadows

            EXT. WOODED AREA - DAY

A small group of our heroes – DARYL, MAGGIE, and JERRY – cautiously move through a forest, their weapons at the ready. The air is heavy with tension.

MAGGIE (whispering): We're getting close, stay alert.

DARYL (gruffly): We don't need any more surprises.

The group continues moving forward, carefully scanning the area for walkers or hostile survivors.

EXT. ABANDONED CAMPSITE - DAY

They reach the edge of the woods, and find a small, overrun campsite. Tents are torn apart, and abandoned supplies are scattered across the ground. Jerry notices a map lying on the ground and picks it up.

JERRY: It's a map of the area. They must have been trying to find something... or someone.

Daryl spots a set of footprints leading away from the campsite.

DARYL: Looks like they didn't get far.

MAGGIE: We'll follow the tracks. Be ready for anything.

EXT. WOODED AREA - DAY (TRACKING)

As they continue tracking the footprints, Daryl signals for the group to stop. Creeping forward, he can barely make out a DISTRESSED SURVIVOR hiding behind a tree up ahead. A few walkers are nearby, but the survivor is doing all they can to not be seen or heard.

DARYL (whispering): Survivor... twelve o' clock. And some walkers.

MAGGIE (whispering): Let's take care of the walkers first, then bring them back to our camp.

The trio swiftly dispatches the walkers as quietly as possible, so as not to draw more attention.

INT. CAMP - DAY

Daryl and Maggie bring the frightened survivor, ISABEL, into their camp. Carol brings Isabel some food and water.

CAROL (comforting): You're safe now. Catch your breath.

ISABEL: Thank you... my group, we didn't stand a chance.

MAGGIE: We found your camp. What happened?

ISABEL: We were fine, but then... they came. The Silent Shadows.

DARYL (questioning): Who?

ISABEL: A ruthless group. They're quiet, stealthy, deadly. We couldn't even hear them coming. They killed most of us... and took the rest. I barely escaped.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Daryl and Maggie exchange a concerned look.

MAGGIE: We need to gather our people, it's not safe here.

The group begins to pack their camp. They know they're in for a difficult challenge, and must confront the Silent Shadows before it's too late.

The Lost Chapter

            INT. ABANDONED HOUSE - DAY

A dimly lit room reveals CAROL and EUGENE, scavenging for supplies. The room is old, dusty, and full of broken furniture. They communicate in hushed voices.

CAROL
(whispering)
They’re getting closer. We need to go.

EUGENE
(back to Carol)
Concur. Give me a minute. I see a box full of medical supplies.

As Eugene grabs the box, a faint GROWL is heard from outside.

EXT. ABANDONED HOUSE - DAY

DARYL and MAGGIE, keeping watch outside the house, exchange concerned glances upon hearing the growl.

DARYL
Hold up. We got some company.

Daryl takes out his crossbow and Maggie readies her knife.

MAGGIE
We can handle them. Just be quiet.

Suddenly, a small group of WALKERS emerges from behind the trees. Daryl and Maggie take them down one by one effortlessly. The commotion attracts more walkers.

INT. ABANDONED HOUSE - DAY

Carol and Eugene hear the chaos outside.

EUGENE
(cosidering)
Best if we vacate the premises quick and join them.

Carol nods in agreement, and they both head outside.

EXT. ABANDONED HOUSE - DAY

Carol and Eugene emerge to join Daryl and Maggie, where they now face an even larger group of walkers.

DARYL
(to the group)
We can’t stay here! C’mon!

They all fight their way through, with Eugene being the most vulnerable, barely escaping while Carol covers him.

The group finally makes it to their hiding spot in a nearby thicket of trees, out of sight from the walkers.

MAGGIE
(whispering)
We need a plan. We can’t keep running with no destination.

CAROL
What if we go back to the old warehouse we passed a few miles back?

While considering the plan, the group hears the sound of the MOTORCYCLE approaching in the distance.

EUGENE
(squinting)
That appears to be Rick’s motorcycle... But, who’s riding it?

As the rider comes closer, the group notices it’s NEGAN, with a smug grin on his face.

NEGAN
Well, well, well... If it isn’t the brave four who got lucky.

The group tensely looks at each other, contemplating their next move.

The Walking Dead: Silent Whispers

INT. A DARK AND ABANDONED BUILDING - NIGHT

The main group of survivors, consisting of DARYL, CAROL, EZEKIEL, MAGGIE, and JUDITH, stand in a circle discussing their next moves.

DARYL: (whispering) We can't stay here too long. They'll find us sooner or later.

CAROL: (nodding) We need to find a way to reach the others, see if they've found anything.

EZEKIEL: (solemnly) If only we had some more reliable means of communication instead of these old walkie-talkies.

MAGGIE: (concerned) Judith, you've been quiet. You alright?

JUDITH: (thoughtful) I think I know of a way we can contact the others without them finding us.

On the edges of the room are other survivors, including ROSITA, GABRIEL, and ALDEN, lying low and keeping watch.

EXT. ABANDONED SUBURBAN STREET - NIGHT

MICHELLE, RICK, NEGAN and YUMIKO keep a low profile as they proceed, weapons in hand, towards their objective.

RICK: (whispering) It's just up ahead. Be ready for anything.

NEGAN: (smirking) Always am, old man.

Michelle spots something in the distance and signals the group to stop.

MICHELLE: (worried) Walkers, at least a dozen. And they're preoccupied with something.

YUMIKO: We might be able to sneak past them if we're quiet.

EXT. FOREST EDGE - NIGHT

A small group of WHISPERERS, led by BETA, are scouting the area, looking for the main group of survivors.

BETA: (whispers) They can't be far. Remember, Alpha wants them alive.

INT. DARK AND ABANDONED BUILDING - NIGHT

Judith outlines her plan to the group.

JUDITH: We can start a fire at the opposite-end of the street. When they go to investigate, we can sneak around and reach the others.

DARYL: (nods) Risky, but it might work. If things go south, we can split up and regroup later.

Ezekiel gathers some materials to build a fire.

EZEKIEL: Let's do this.

INT. DARK AND ABANDONED BUILDING - LATER

The group of survivors break off into pairs, ready to execute their plan.

MAGGIE: Carol and I will handle the fire. You guys take the lead when we give the signal.

EXT. ABANDONED SUBURBAN STREET - NIGHT

The other group of survivors, led by RICK, reach their destination – a boarded-up house.

RICK: Inside, quick.

They break into the house, looking for supplies and shelter.

INT. BOARDED-UP HOUSE - NIGHT

The group scans the dark, decrepit house, searching for any useful resources.

YUMIKO: They must've been gone a while.

NEGAN: (sarcastically) Ghost town. Wonder why? (pauses and smirks) Oh, right: us.

RICK: (ignores Negan) Let's keep moving. Things are too quiet.

EXT. FOREST EDGE - NIGHT

The WHISPERERS notice a fire starting in the distance.

BETA: (whispers) They're trying to distract us.

And with that revelation, Beta orders his group to move quietly in the direction of the fire.

The Walking Dead: Echoes of the Past

EXT. ABANDONED GAS STATION - DAY

A group of weary survivors – DARYL, MAGGIE, ROSITA and AARON – approach a long-abandoned gas station. Signs of a past battle are evident: burned out cars, spent bullet casings, and blood-stained pavement.

DARYL
(to the group)
Let's scavenge here. Keep an eye out for any walkers.

MAGGIE
(determined)
I'll search for food. Rosita, care to join me?

ROSITA
(nods)
Sure thing.

AARON
I'll look for medical supplies. Good luck, everyone.

The group splits up to search different areas of the gas station. As they search, each member discovers traces of their own painful pasts among the wreckage.

Feels like a lifetime ago.

INT. ABANDONED GAS STATION - DAY

Aaron, while rummaging for medical supplies, finds the same red bandanna he wore when he first met Rick and his group, which is now torn up.

AARON
(whispers)
Rick...

Suddenly, gunshots echo from a nearby building, followed by the sounds of walkers. Aaron makes eye contact with the others, and they all run towards the noise.

DARYL
(whispers loudly)
Stay low, quiet, and ready.

As they approach the building, the crack of a loud metallic chain is heard. From the shadows, EUGENE emerges, half-bloody and bruised.

EUGENE
(surprised)
My apologies, the firing was out of instinct. The walkers had me cornered.

The group exchanges glances, unsure of how to react. Before they can respond, a pack of walkers emerges from the nearby woods, drawn by the gunshots and Eugene's voice.

MAGGIE
determined)
We'll talk later. Right now, we stand together and fight.

The group tenses as the horde of walkers approaches them. They prepare their weapons, knowing that a difficult battle lies ahead.

MUSIC CUE: TENSE, OMINOUS

The Walking Dead: Desperate Measures

EXT. ABANDONED GAS STATION - DAY

A dusty, desolate scene. Our core group of survivors - RICK, DARYL, CAROL, MICHONNE, MAGGIE, and GLENN - are scavenging the area for supplies.

RICK
(wiping sweat from his brow)
We could use more water. There's no telling how long we'll be out here.

CAROL
(searching an overturned car)
I've found some canned food, but it won't last us long.

DARYL
(pointing into the distance)
Michonne, take a look at that.

As Michonne approaches Daryl, she sees a water tower in the distance, through the trees.

MICHONNE
Could be a decent source of water.

RICK
(radioing to MORGAN, who is keeping watch nearby with EUGENE)
Morgan, you up for giving the tower a look?

MORGAN (RADIO)
We're on our way.

EXT. WATER TOWER - DAY

The group approaches the water tower. SPENCER, a young survivor who joined them recently, is tagging along as well.

GLENN
Spencer, you know how to climb?

SPENCER
(unsure of himself)
Yeah, I've done it before.

GLENN
(smiling)
Good, we'll need you to climb up and check if there's any water left.

As Spencer climbs the tower, the group hears the distant moans and growls of walkers.

DARYL
(getting his crossbow ready)
Gotta take 'em out quietly.

EXT. GAS STATION - DAY

Walkers are now roaming closer to the gas station. Rick, Michonne, Carol, and Daryl move to dispatch them without making noise.

RICK
(whispering)
All right, let's do this.

The group takes them down one by one. Meanwhile, at the water tower, Spencer has reached the top.

EXT. WATER TOWER - DAY

GLENN
(disappointed)
Any luck?

SPENCER
(empty container in hand)
Not much, only a few gallons left.

MAGGIE
Well, it's better than nothing.

MICHONNE
(looking around warily)
We've stirred up the nest. They're getting closer.

RICK
We've got what we can. Time to go.

EXT. FOREST - DAY

The group is hurrying through the woods, but the walker horde is growing faster than they can retreat.

DARYL
(troubled)
There's too many. We need a plan.

RICK
(pensive, determined)
We'll get through this, just like we always do.

INT. ABANDONED HOUSE - DAY

As the group takes shelter inside a secluded house, they're catching their breath and taking inventory of their supplies.

CAROL
We can't outrun them forever.

GLENN
(looking at a map)
This might be our best bet. There's an old factory just up the road, might be able to find resources or a place to hold up for the night.

MICHONNE
(nods in agreement)
It's our only option. We make a run for it and hope for the best.

RICK
(resolute)
We'll rest for a moment, and then we'll make our way there. We'll get through this, like we always do.
